Since opening in mid-July, Tomo 202, located in the Fairfield County town of Brookfield at 806 Federal Rd., has received plenty of praise for its fresh sushi rolls, ramen, and boba tea.
The eatery is the sister restaurant to Tomo 68 in Naugatuck, Ramen & Bao in Oxford, and Ji Bei Chuan in Orange, all in New Haven County.
Those who stop by the new location can indulge in delicious sushi rolls, sashimi, and tempura, as well as ramen, dumplings, oysters, and more.
Options include the Volcano Roll, which features spicy habanero sauce, as well as the Deep Sea Roll with caviar and lemon-infused mayonnaise.
Don't forget to order a drink, too: some offered on the menu include brown sugar, Earl Grey, and taro milk tea, as well as the popular Thai Iced Tea.
According to Yelp reviewers, many of which have left five-star reviews for the restaurant, the business is housed in a clean development and has plenty of street parking.
"It's a welcoming environment where you are greeted with smiles when you enter," wrote Andrew I. in his five-star Yelp review, also adding, "The food is great...My absolute favorite was the Baconator Roll. I've never had bacon on a sushi roll so I was curious to try."
Dennis C. of Trumbull also raved about the place: "The boba teas and drinks were excellent but the sushi was even better. They have many creative rolls and tasty concoctions."
He also recommended the soup dumplings, calling them "incredible."
